Research Title : Climate-Pandemic Early-Warning Hub Multi-Hazard Infectious-Disease EWS (Los Angeles Pilot)

Research summary :

THE PROBLEM – A Certain and Unacceeptable Future

The COVID-19 pandemic inflicted a $14 trillion loss on the global economy, leaving a devastating generational scar by orphaning more than 10 million children. Climate change makes this a certainty, not a possibility, projecting over 15,000 new cross-species viral transmissions in the coming decades. A fragmented, reactive response is a guarantee of failure.

THE SOLUTION

- An Integrated Defense Architecture Our response is an integrated defense system: the Climate

- Pandemic Early-Warning Hub. It is engineered for Capability, Reliability, and Adaptability, with a clear mission: To deliver ≥5 days of actionable lead-time against infectious disease surges, creating a scalable shield for all APEC economies.

THE PROOF - Performance, Validated

• Foresight: Our system provides up to a 14-day lead time on COVID-19 outbreaks by fusing wastewater data with real-time genomic sequencing.

• Accuracy: The next-generation Dengue forecast ensemble achieves ≥0.94 AUROC, and our enhanced Cholera model shows a ≥0.78 correlation with cases.

• Innovation: Powered by AI-driven quality control, continuous-flow qPCR, and the ECMWF 46-day climate forecast to see threats before they emerge.

• Accessibility: Tiered roadmap lets any city start with a Core Sentinel bundle (~US $50 k, satellite + grab‑sample qPCR) and grow to a Full Sensor package (~US $430 k). Same ≥5‑day warning, scaled to budget.

• Impact: Our methodology enables a global defensive shield, neutralizing novel viruses before they achieve pandemic status.
