What to Bring

Weather in August

  • General Items : Summer clothes(light, breathable), Towel, slippers, cap or hat, Sunblock, insect repellent, Sponge bag with personal toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc.), Writing instruments(pens, notebooks)
  • Official T-shirt (Included in the welcome kit) The conference T-shirt must be worn during : the award ceremony, on-site visit programs
  • Laptop : Please bring your laptop if possible. It will be helpful for your presentation preparation and team activities.
  • Formal Attire (Please bring your school uniform) : Formal clothing is required for the presentation session and may also be used for group photos or official events.
  • Personal necessities

Electricity

Electricity supply in Korea operates at 220 volts AC, 60 Hz. The majority of electrical outlets in Korea take a two-pronged plug.
Please remind that you need to bring your own adaptor for use throughout the event.

Medical Insurance

All participants are supposed to get travel insurance during staying in Korea. Although we, AMGS, get insurance for you, it would be better for you to prepare for your own insurance too.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of workplaces, public places, restaurants, bars for all ages, as well as some outdoor areas such as escalators, public pleasure grounds, beaches etc.
